A beautiful antique Victorian bamboo occasional table with a square top and gently splayed legs. It has a lovely open, airy design, with a lower tier and decorative bamboo supports adding interest without making the piece feel too fussy.
The original bamboo has a wonderful warm colour and patina, with the natural variation and signs of age that make these pieces so appealing. A lovely example of the Anglo-Japanese influence that was so popular during the Victorian period.
There is some age-related wear to the original woven surfaces, but overall it is in very good antique condition and structurally sound.
A versatile piece that would work beautifully as a drinks table, beside a sofa or armchair, or simply styled with a lamp, books or a vase.
Each piece has lived a prior life before finding its way here. Signs of age, wear or character are part of its story – and what make it unique. Every item is photographed and described with care, though small variations may occur.

On occasion, a piece may not be the perfect fit. If so, please provide notice as soon as possible. Items may be returned within 7 days of receipt, as long as they are sent back in their original condition. Once safely returned, a refund will be arranged (excluding shipping costs).
