A beautifully weighty Swedish brass lever candlestick with a wonderfully aged finish that has developed a rich, mellow character over time. The simple form is elevated by its clever lever mechanism, which gradually lowers as the candle burns, creating an interesting detail as well as a practical function.
Stamped with the maker’s mark to the base, it takes a standard tapered candle and makes a striking addition to a mantel, dining table, sideboard or shelf. Its sculptural shape means it looks just as good unlit, making it a lovely decorative object as well as a functional candlestick.
The brass could be polished if a brighter, high-shine finish is preferred, although I particularly like the warmth and depth of its current aged finish.

On occasion, a piece may not be the perfect fit. If so, please provide notice as soon as possible. Items may be returned within 7 days of receipt, as long as they are sent back in their original condition. Once safely returned, a refund will be arranged (excluding shipping costs).
