A beautiful vintage Swedish oil painting, signed S.B.L and dated 1953, depicting a couple walking through a wonderfully expressive rural landscape.
Painted in rich greens, ochres, blues and earthy tones, it has a lovely loose, painterly quality and a real sense of movement. The winding country path and rolling landscape are particularly lovely, while the original wooden frame with its subtle golden finish adds to its mid-century charm.
A beautifully atmospheric piece in very good vintage condition, ready to hang and enjoy.
