A lovely pair of 1970s Swedish wall lamps by Solbackens Svarveri, made from warm pine with simple cream fabric shades. Both are adjustable, allowing the light to be directed exactly where needed, making them particularly good beside a bed or chair as reading lights, or equally at home in a living room or bathroom.
The plug-in fitting is a particularly useful feature, meaning they can be installed without the need for hardwiring into the wall. A practical choice for creating bedside lighting or adding an extra light source where a permanent electrical installation isn't desirable.
Good vintage condition with some minor marks and light wear consistent with age. Please see photos.
Measurements: Height: 23.5cm, Width: 18cm, Base diameter: 12cm
Each piece has lived a prior life before finding its way here. Signs of age, wear or character are part of its story – and what make it unique. Every item is photographed and described with care, though small variations may occur.
