A striking pair of vintage Swedish wall sconces in richly coloured brass, featuring beautifully embossed and hand-worked decoration. The shaped backplates are embellished with raised circular motifs and fine studded details, surrounding a sculptural central form, with matching decorative finials above.
The warm, aged brass has a wonderful depth and character, with the intricate surface catching the light beautifully. There are some age-related marks to the plate, however these are only noticeable close up and do not detract from their overall appearance.
