A beautiful vintage Swedish pewter bud vase with a tall, slender form and gently tapered shape. The pewter has a lovely softly aged finish which, from a distance, gives it the appearance of silver.
Its narrow neck makes it particularly suited to displaying a few stems or delicate branches, as shown here. The proportions are elegant and understated, with just enough presence to look beautiful even when left empty.
A lovely example of Scandinavian metalware, and a particularly useful little vase for displaying a few freshly picked stems.
